Suzlon and Torrent Partnership grows to over 1.3 GW with a new 250 MW wind order

Pune, India: Suzlon Group has secured a 250 MW wind energy order from Torrent Green Energy, an entity of the Torrent Group. This is the sixth order from Torrent and expands the cumulative partnership between the two companies to 1,306 MW (over 1.3 GW) across Gujarat, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh.

Under the project, Suzlon will supply 76 flagship S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.3 MW. Suzlon will also provide grid integration and long-term operations & maintenance through its Asset Management Services (AMS) business. The order further strengthens Suzlon's presence in Madhya Pradesh, which is emerging as an important growth market for wind energy in India. With this win, Suzlon's total order intake in FY27 has crossed 1.1 GW.
