India Green Steel Coalition (IGSC)
Suzlon has joined the India Green Steel Coalition (IGSC) as a proactive member of the buyer community committed to responsible sourcing and climate-conscious growth.
Formed by WWF India and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), IGSC brings together industry leaders to promote low-carbon steel through demand alignment and policy advocacy. With a vision to significantly reduce the steel sector’s emissions intensity by 2030, IGSC includes major producers like JSW, JSPL, SAIL, and Kalyani Steel, already covering over 70% of India’s steel market.
As a member, Suzlon is contributing to India’s green transition by supporting policies and partnerships that drive the decarbonization of one of the country's most emission-intensive industries. -
PHDCCI Carbon Markets forum
Suzlon is also a member of the Carbon Markets Forum, an initiative focused on shaping the future of carbon credit markets to support the global net-zero transition.
By participating in this dialogue, Suzlon is helping build consensus on practical principles that strengthen the integrity and impact of carbon markets.
