From a small workforce of 20 people Suzlon grew into the world’s fifth largest wind turbine manufacturer. In India’s wind energy sector suzlon has maintained its no.1 position with the highest year on year market share since 10 consecutive years. Suzlon has grown its cumulative installed base by 400% in the last five years since FY 2004-05 in excess of 10000 MW. In FY 2008-09, Suzlon had a market share of more than 50% in the Indian market.
