Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation has an extensive client list with more than more than 80 wind projects across North America. Suzlon's top North American customers by installed capacity include: Iberdrola Renewables is a wholly owned subsidiary of international energy giant, Iberdrola S.A.,Spain’s number one energy group and the fourth largest utility company in world by market cap. To date they hold the largest global portfolio of Suzlon’s turbines at 716 MW of installed capacity in the United States. Edison Mission Group manages the competitive power generation business and other unregulated subsidiaries of Edison International, and is headquartered in Irvine, California. Holding the second largest portfolio of Suzlon turbines worldwide, EMG owns 678 MW of Suzlon machines inthe United States. Exelon Corporation, the U.S.-based Exelon Corporation announced in December 2010 that it acquired John Deere Renewables with their entire 965 MW wind portfolio and pipeline, of which the majority – over 530 MW – comprises of Suzlon S88-2.1 MW turbines. The sale once again underlines the bankability of Suzlon technology, product and customer service.
