Edison Mission Group manages the competitive power generation business and other unregulated subsidiaries of Edison International, and is headquartered in Irvine, California. Holding the second largest portfolio of Suzlon turbines worldwide, EMG owns 678 MW of Suzlon machines inthe United States.
Exelon Corporation, the U.S.-based Exelon Corporation announced in December 2010 that it acquired John Deere Renewables with their entire 965 MW wind portfolio and pipeline, of which the majority – over 530 MW – comprises of Suzlon S88-2.1 MW turbines.
