Suzlon was established in India in 1995, and we went on to drive renewable energy revolution in the country. Establishing ourselves as a partner of choice at a time when the nascent domestic market was primarily dependent on international players, Suzlon became synonymous with green energy.
Today, 9.50 GW of our 15.50 GW global installations are based in India. With 36% market share, we are the leading player in the domestic market.
India is also the hub of our technology, manufacturing and research and development. 15 manufacturing facilities with 14 being in India, coupled with an expansive, carefully developed vendor base, have given us an almost completely vertically integrated supply chain. Our manufacturing base is supported by 8 R&D centers with a focus on developing technology to increase generation, reduce the cost of energy and offer higher returns on investment.
We've moved beyond national boundaries, but we are rooted in India and are proud to play our part in Make in India.
Our latest product - S111, and older, S97 turbines are designed to help customers get more out of Class III sites across a wide range of altitudes and temperatures.
Suzlon focuses on providing a complete range of efficient, cost–effective wind energy solutions with a pioneering business model that offers the entire gamut of value added services.
Suzlon's clientele is a diverse mix, drawn from different business groups such as Utilities, IPPs, HNI, Community Owners, FIIs, Consortiums, Manufacturing Industries and many more.
Suzlon's market share in India is 36%, making us one of the leading players in the domestic market. India also happens to be the hub for our technology, manufacturing and R&D sectors.
